THE LEDGE at WILLIS TOWER

I was recently honored to be contacted by and work with Miami Herald food editor, Carlos Frias. Carlos won the 2018 James Beard award for excellence in covering the food industry. He found my work online and reached out, letting me know that he would be in town because of the exciting news that was once again nominated for a James Beard Award.

In tandem, he wanted to set up a surprise night time photo shoot, having me capture his marriage proposal to his girlfriend (Gaby) at the SKYDECK LEDGE at WILLIS TOWER. I had a ton of fun setting up the logistics for the session with Carlos to ensure a seamless experience, capture the mood and emotion of the night and deliver a great gallery of images that I am so excited to share here! Not only did she say YES, Carlos is now a 2-time James Beard award recipient. Congrats on both counts, Carlos (and Gaby)! :)
