Cinematic. Comfortable. Trusted by the venue.

Two ways to book this room: one of our lead photographers at $4,295, or me. Either way, every image in your gallery is edited by my hands.

2026 and 2027 Winery dates are open. Booking locks your date and your photographer, the two things that actually run out.

The Venue Isn't "Dark." It's Cinematic and Romantic.

Many photographers don't know how to handle Chicago Winery. They think the low light is a problem to be fixed. To me, it looks like a movie set, and I know exactly how to light it.

I don't kill the mood with blinding flash. I use the ambient amber light and the shadows to frame you. What comes back isn't a grainy snapshot. It's an image that feels the way the night actually felt.

You don't need to hold a pose. You just need to be together. I'll handle the light.

Notes from a preferred partner who has worked this building enough times to stop guessing.

The "Room Flip" Advantage

Between ceremony and reception, staff needs time to flip the room. That window is where we capitalize, taking creative portraits in spaces your guests are not standing in.

Then we get you to cocktail hour with time to mingle. Unless you would rather keep shooting, or take the bridal suite and recharge. Your call.

📍 The Shots Most People Miss

My galleries from this venue look different from each other because I don't run the same shot list twice. I keep finding new corners here that hold a wall-ready frame.

The improvised frames are usually the ones couples print. They are specific to that night and that couple, which is exactly why they land.

🌧 The Rain Plan

This is one of the few Chicago venues where the weather app doesn't decide your day.

Why: the interior architecture is rich enough that we never have to step outside. Full, varied gallery, rain or shine.

🍷 The Room People Forget

The rooftop terrace here runs all season, and couples routinely plan their timeline without it. It reads completely differently from the Barrel Room, which is the point.

Ten minutes upstairs near sunset gives your gallery a second look without adding a location fee or a car ride.

"I'm Not Good at Posing."

Good. I don't want you to pose.

Before I ever shot a wedding, I spent a decade in Chicago theater, including a Jeff Award and one credit at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. That work taught me one useful thing: people look like themselves when they are doing something, not when they are being arranged.

So I don't say "smile at the lens." I give you something to actually do. Walk to the end of the hallway and tell her the thing you were too nervous to put in your vows. Stand at the top of the stairs and wait for him. Then I step back and let it happen. You get to be yourselves. I get the frame.

Not Everyone Wants a Magazine Shoot

About half the couples I photograph tell me up front that they're bad in photos. The other half arrive with a bold visual idea and want a collaborator. Both get the same promise: images they could not have gotten anywhere else. The on-ramp is different. The gallery is not.

Chicago Winery Wedding Photography Pricing

Two ways to book this venue, at two price points, with one editor. Prices below are the Chicago Winery partner rates. No consultation required to see them.

Studio Team

The Associate Collection

$4,295

8 hours of coverage

  • One lead photographer from our team, matched to your date
  • Complimentary engagement session
  • Every image hand-edited by me, the same way I edit my own weddings
  • Full Barrel Room lighting approach, taught and shot the same way
  • Timeline planning and venue coordination
  • Second photographer available as an add-on

One photographer is the design of this collection, not a compromise inside it. It is what makes the price real rather than a discount I would have to claw back somewhere else.

These are below my standard collections because Chicago Winery is our preferred-vendor partner. The rate is attached to this building.

The Honest Difference

The editing is identical. The venue knowledge is identical, because I train the team here and I know this room. What changes is who is in it with you on the day, and how many of us there are.

If you want me personally, or you want two cameras covering two rooms at once, book the collections on the right. If your budget lands closer to $4,000 and you would rather have our studio's work than a cheaper photographer's, the Associate Collection exists for exactly that. It is a different product, not a lesser version of the same one.

I will tell you which one I think fits when you send your date. That answer is free and it is not always the more expensive one.

Every image hand-edited by me, image by image. Not outsourced.

Chicago Winery Wedding Photography FAQ

What is the difference between the Associate Collection and booking Jeremy?

Two things: who holds the camera, and how many cameras there are. The Associate Collection is 8 hours with one lead photographer from our team. My collections are 8.5 to 10.5 hours with two photographers. I hand-edit every image in both, so the galleries look like they came from the same studio, because they did.

How much photography time do we really need here?

Eight hours covers a standard Winery timeline from getting ready through the first hour of dancing. Add time if you want extensive family formals, a first look in a separate location, or a late send-off.

Is flash used during the ceremony?

Yes. The low light in this venue requires flash for clean, healthy skin tones. I use it to complement the mood rather than kill it.

Best places for portraits if it rains?

Barrel Room staircase, interior arches, fireplace, long hallways, and the covered entry, all within about 100 feet. Zero-stress, weather-proof options.

What if we're awkward in photos?

About half the couples I photograph say exactly that before we start. It is built into how this works. I give you something real to do instead of a pose, and by the end you forget I'm there.

What if Jeremy isn't available for our date?

Then the Associate Collection is your answer, and it is a good one. Our lead photographers are working professionals I have shot alongside and vetted. I still edit every frame.

How soon do we see photos?

On my Winery collections, highlights land within 72 hours. Full gallery delivery follows your contract timeline, hand-edited for timeless rather than trendy.

Can you coordinate with our planner and band?

Yes. Timeline and lighting cues are shared in advance so speeches and the first dance are properly lit. Chicago Winery also assigns you an event manager who is on site the day of, which makes the whole thing run smoother.

Do you also offer video?

Ask about the cinematic film add-on. It is built for this venue's look, with natural audio and a matching color profile.

Do you edit your own photos?

Every single image, image by image, including every associate gallery. Not outsourced. Your gallery carries one consistent artistic vision from first look to last dance.
