Neurodivergent & Camera-Shy Souls
Does the thought of being photographed make you a little nervous? You’re not alone – and you’re exactly who we love working with. If you or your partner are neurodivergent (ADHD, autistic, on the spectrum, or otherwise), you might worry that a high-pressure photoshoot could be overwhelming. Or maybe you’re simply camera-shy or introverted, the type who feels awkward posing for photos. We get it – having a big lens pointed at you can feel intimidating. The good news? It doesn’t have to be. We’ve designed our entire approach to put even the most anxious hearts at ease.
Here, you set the pace. We turn our sessions into casual, laid-back experiences – more like hanging out with a friend than a stiff photoshoot. In fact, one client told us their session felt like “a casual hang” that let “any anxiety melt away”. There’s no judgment, no pressure to perform or “act super photogenic.” If you need a break, we’ll take one. If certain settings are too much (crowds, noise, sensory overload), we’ll find a chill spot that suits you. Our goal is to capture the real you – the quiet smiles, the goofy grins, the focused, passionate gaze when you look at your love – without forcing anything. And guess what?
